Job Description

The Channel Account Manager will build and promote Acumera’s position as a leader in the managed security space, specifically through the channel community.  The Channel Account Manager must be a key contributor to the revenue growth for Acumera and manage company growth targets.  The position is accountable for managing all partnerships within the guidelines of Acumera’s channel programs, spearheading new business development and successfully developing alliances with key solution providers.  It is the responsibility of the Channel Account Manager to motivate, educate and train the partners in Acumera’s products and technologies and expand sales  by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets.

 

Job Duties

As an integral part of the sales team, the Channel Account Manager will have responsibility for the following:

  • Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds
  • Manage existing prospects and growth of new prospective Distribution, Channel, System Integration and Consultants that will allow better market and vertical sales/support coverage
  • Help train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that will lead to successful POC (Proof of Concept) evaluation
  • Lead facilitator for communication between partners and Acumera
  • Validate that Acumera partners are meeting the training, certification and support requirements to stay competitive with quality of service to the end-users
  • Facilitate product and sales training to partners field sales/SE staff
  • Drive product marketing and demand generation activities with partners to accompany Acumera products/solutions on partner’s website, seminars and tradeshows
  • Proactively communicate with Acumera VP of Sales on Channel pipeline and forecasts
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel business plan which will be reviewed on a quarterly basis by the VP of Sales
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Travel requirements: 50%

 

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years channel sales and territory management in networking or security sectors
  • Experience building business and marketing plans with partners
  • Must have experience in delivering sales trainings and experience in working in a fast pace environment with revenue responsibilities
  • Experience carrying quota with a track record of over-achievement
  • CRM Experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Highly Personable – able to create relationships face to face and on the phone

NOC Service Technician Description

This position is an experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Service Technician. The NOC Service Technician will provide troubleshooting and technical service and support assistance for the mission-critical networks deployed for customers.

 

NOC Service Technicians work with customers and broadband providers to ensure that these networks maintain a high degree of integrity, reliability and security. NOC Service Technicians should possess a positive attitude, embrace change, be a team player and a fast learner with a solid background in networking and support.

 

Essential Functions

Provisioning Associate Description

The Provisioning Associate will work with high-speed internet service providers (ISP) to prequalify, provision and confirm broadband installation for customer locations. The Provisioning Associate will also purchase networking equipment and coordinate networking equipment installs to support customers as well as manage inventory of equipment. The Provisioning Associate with consistently follow documented processes to maintain a high degree of quality in work product and customer satisfaction. All daily work must be completed in a timely and cost efficient manner.

    • update database with order confirmation details
    • confirm broadband installations
    • contact ISP to request tag & locate technician dispatches for unconfirmed broadband installations
    • request order status for missed appointments
    • escalate with ISP for missed appointment or due date improvements on individual case basis
    • register or request PPPoE credentials for DSL circuits
    • maintain broadband information in database
  • Manage all network equipment purchases, distribution and inventory levels
    • establish and maintain relationship with Acumera vendors
    • package install kits for shipment from headquarters
    • create shipping and return labels and drop off packages at UPS store/dropbox
    • update records with shipping details (serial numbers, tracking information)
    • update internal ticketing system with shipping information upon shipping and delivery
    • maintain accurate records of all equipment shipped
    • submit install kit ship requests for warehouse/distribution/fulfillment center
    • purchase equipment via third-party vendors to maintain inventory at warehouse/distribution/fulfillment center
    • manage inventory levels for each pick list item at headquarters and warehouse/ distribution/fulfillment center
    • track progress of tasks and complete follow-up to meet deadlines
  • Provide customer service support, as required

 

Provisioning Associate Job Qualifications

Reporting to the CEO, this role is a key contributor to the company’s marketing strategy and will be the lead for executing on all marketing programs. The Director of Marketing will partner with key Acumera stakeholders to understand the customer journey and ensure the content and capabilities are in place to drive Acumera’s business forward.

 

The Director of Marketing will be a creative, seasoned, poised and polished communicator with strong experience in complex B2B marketing, content marketing, email marketing, campaign management, and experience in corporate messaging. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic, executional, creative, and analytical skills, and will be a highly motivated self-starter who appreciates a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Director of Marketing will have responsibility for the following:

  • Develops and implements marketing plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives for products and services
  • Creates and manages marketing budgets
  • Plans and oversees marketing activities including print, web, social media, direct mail, PR and trade shows
  • Develops and maintains visual brand guidelines and interpretations of the brand across channels
  • Acts as brand steward and internal advocate for the brand’s visual and written identity
  • Develops clear messaging of company brand value, messaging and differentiation with a distinct illustration of Acumera’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Primary owner of company website and content generation in conjunction with various content sources
  • Collaborates with sales to develop and execute digital and social media channel marketing campaigns to target customers
  • Supports product launches with presentations, collateral and training material
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with press, industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Creates marketing results reports to present to executive management and sales
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

 

Director of Marketing Job Qualifications

  • Clear communicator with the ability to effortlessly take complicated issues and create concise deliverables to communicate the company’s point of view
  • Excellent writing skills, painstaking attention to details, and ability to navigate ambiguous issues to create appropriate messaging
  • Strong creative judgment and guidance with an eye for design and visual aesthetics
  • Highly effective project manager with the ability to work effectively under deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate yet work independently to achieve defined goals while owning certain deliverables and managing others to completion

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business administration or similar field or equivalent number of years of experience, required
  • Five+ (5+) years of marketing experience, preferably in a tech-based company, required
  • Master’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration, preferred
  • Computer network or security marketing experience a plus
