What we are looking for:

Embedded Software Developer – This role develops, modifies and maintains applications that may be customized or standardized. The Embedded Software Developer will work within the development team maintaining and developing applications on a Linux based embedded security appliance. The applications consist of C programs or Bash/Shell scripts and may involve socket and network programming. The applications obtain configuration and push status to our high availability network infrastructure. This position requires experience in working with bring up of new ARM based product and working in a cross build ARM environment.  Strong knowledge and experience with Linux firewall and IDS is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain Linux applications typically in C on an embedded Internet security appliance
  2. Perform unit testing and work with technical support team in performing alpha testing
  3. Debugging and investigating customer issues reported by the technical support team
  4. Collaborate with the web development team to interface with UI components of the management platform
  5. Working in an agile environment, where compliance with secure software development processes is critical

 

Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related field REQUIRED
  2. Good understanding and experience in data networking and TCP/IP protocol suite
  3. Experience in Linux networking and administration
  4. Knowledge of network security protocols such as IPSec and TLS
  5. Knowledge of Linux firewall and IDS technologies
  6. Proficient in C/C++ with emphasis on performance
  7. Proficient in shell and bash scripting
  8. Knowledge of networking and socket programming
  9. Linux programming and system administration experience
  10. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills
  11. Experience in GIT version control system, defect tracking and peer code review
  12. Experience with embedded debugging tools and board bring-up
  13. 3-5 years of embedded software development experience and 1-2 years of embedded Linux development experience
  14. Experience with Yocto and Bitbake is desirable
  15. Understanding of Amazon Web Services is desirable
  16. Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

The Channel Account Manager will build and promote Acumera’s position as a leader in the managed security space, specifically through the channel community.  The Channel Account Manager must be a key contributor to the revenue growth for Acumera and manage company growth targets.  The position is accountable for managing all partnerships within the guidelines of Acumera’s channel programs, spearheading new business development and successfully developing alliances with key solution providers.  It is the responsibility of the Channel Account Manager to motivate, educate and train the partners in Acumera’s products and technologies and expand sales  by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets.

 

 

Job Duties

As an integral part of the sales team, the Channel Account Manager will have responsibility for the following:

  • Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds
  • Manage existing prospects and growth of new prospective Distribution, Channel, System Integration and Consultants that will allow better market and vertical sales/support coverage
  • Help train partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that will lead to successful POC (Proof of Concept) evaluation
  • Lead facilitator for communication between partners and Acumera
  • Validate that Acumera partners are meeting the training, certification and support requirements to stay competitive with quality of service to the end-users
  • Facilitate product and sales training to partners field sales/SE staff
  • Drive product marketing and demand generation activities with partners to accompany Acumera products/solutions on partner’s website, seminars and tradeshows
  • Proactively communicate with Acumera VP of Sales on Channel pipeline and forecasts
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Channel business plan which will be reviewed on a quarterly basis by the VP of Sales
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Travel requirements: 50%

  • 5+ years channel sales and territory management in networking or security sectors
  • Experience building business and marketing plans with partners

The Account Executive (Retail) is responsible for selling Acumera’s networking and security platform.  The Account Executive (Retail) is an experienced sales person who takes a consultative sales approach and has a successful track record of growing both new business and revenue.  This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline, delivering results against a quota and maintaining productive client relationships.  The ideal candidate has experience selling to IT solutions to multi-site Quick Serve Restaurants (QSR’s)  and brings industry relationships with them.

 

Job Duties

As an integral part of the sales team, the desired candidate will have responsibility for the following:

  • Sales growth to new QSR customers
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders within QSR accounts
  • Act as the resident expert on Acumera product line and sell new QSR customers on our software/hardware/services solutions

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and expansion business within the existing Acumera customer base.  An Account Manager manages the pipeline and delivers results against a quota.
