A growing Austin-based managed network services company seeks an experienced Network Services & Support Technician to provide service and support for the value-added networks we deploy for our customers.

This Network Services & Support Technician will work with employees, customers and broadband providers to service and support networks that help our customers succeed.
Candidate should possess a positive attitude and be someone who embraces change, is a team player, and a fast learner with a solid background in networking and support processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support to resolve open support requests for local network or carrier issues
- Remote issue diagnosis and support and guiding customers through issue resolution
- Provide technical remote support to customers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical network and/or carrier related problems
- Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner via telephone and trouble-ticket updates
- Prioritize and escalate issues to Network Administrators as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Linux networking experience
- Network administration experience
- Outstanding customer interface and customer support skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible support coverage hours
- Bachelors degree and technical training required
