ACUMERA AND LIQUID NETWORX TEAM UP TO SECURELY CONNECT MERCHANTS WITH THEIR SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND MACHINES
Relationship extends security architecture with operational visibility and management.
AUSTIN, Texas –Acumera , the leader in Trusted Connection Services for retail organizations, announced today that Liquid Networx has agreed to market products and services based on a suite of secure, merchant-centric applications that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness by securing traditional network clients as well as connecting non-traditional devices.
Today, merchants must be compliant with transaction security standards, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and/or food safety requirements, including the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011 (FSMA). Executives of multi-location merchant organizations count on their networks to securely deliver live data to drive their business intelligence systems and to enable quick responses to shifting market demand. Through this new relationship, Liquid Networx and Acumera will deliver value for customers through unique technology and expertise, connecting and managing a myriad of devices and equipment that provide key operational data.
“Multi-location merchant IT departments are not only facing major shifts in compliance and security requirements, but also are burdened with an explosion in the number and type of new devices and equipment necessitating robust, high-availability connectivity,” said Don Douglas, CEO at Liquid Networx. “We believe our engagement with Acumera complements and enhances our managed network services and PCI compliance consulting practice.”
Under the agreement, Liquid Networx will market private-label versions of Acumera’s Merchant Gateway, AcuVigil™ Dashboard, and Machine-to-Cloud™ Integration Engine as part of a bundle of IT lifecycle management services and security products and expertise delivered by Liquid Networx subsidiary ComplyGuard Networks.
“We’re pleased to have Liquid Networx as a partner and to build on their expertise in network and data security, IT and telecom lifecycle management,” said Dirk Heinen, CEO of Acumera. “Beyond our ability to assist the company in differentiating their service offerings, the strong market presence that Liquid Networx has outside our core convenience store base opens new opportunities for both companies.”
